Fees & Administration

(Owlets may attend for a minimum of three mornings per week, which are charged
as a proportion of the current weekly fee.  (i.e. £1,450 divided by 5 mornings = £290 x however many mornings attended.)

There is a 10% discount on the fees of a younger child/children while an elder brother/sister remains at the school.

Registration Fee:  £75  (£60 for siblings) (non-returnable).   
Confirmation Fee: £200 (requested when a place is offered, following an assessment visit).

Barfield Pre-Prep- 
Owlets - Children can join the first Nursery Class (Owlets) in the academic year they reach their third birthday. Morning sessions run from 9.00a.m. – 12.44p.m. (after lunch).
Owls - In the following academic year minimum attendance is 5 mornings per week. Morning sessions run from
9.00a.m. -  12.45p.m.(after lunch). Full day ends 3.30p.m.
Reception - Year 2 - Full-time - School hours are 9.00a.m. - 3.30p.m.

Staff are available in the Pre-Prep from 8.00a.m. if children need to be brought to school earlier than 9.00a.m.  Please note that Ofsted stipulates that children under the age of three years may only attend Owlets for a maximum of four hours per day (e.g. 8.45a.m. – 12.44p.m.).  Therefore, if a child aged under 3 arrives earlier than 8.45a.m. he/she must be collected within four hours.  Once a child reaches three years of age, this ruling no longer applies.   ‘Great Lates’ after-school care is available for Owls – Year 2, until 6.00p.m. at an additional charge of £8.50 per session (charged from 4.10p.m.), which would be added to your school account at the end of the relevant term. 

Barfield Prep-
Years 3 - 8 - School Hours are 8.30a.m. - 4.15p.m.
