History

History is taught from Years 3-8 and we start off in Year 3with the Stone Age and continue through to Ancient Egypt and Greece. In Year 4 the history of the Anglo-Saxons and the Normans is taught. When in Year 5 the children study the Elizabethans and the Stuarts, while in Year 6 they study the Victorians through to post WWII. In Year 7 and 8 the children forcus on the requirements of the Common Entrance syllabus and study the period 1500-1750.
