Learning Support Centre

Three teachers staff the department, each on a part-time basis. Children in the Senior School have time-tabled lessons either on a temporary or more permanent basis. Lessons are 1:1, paired or a group basis depending on the needs of the child. Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) and notes for differentation in class teaching are written regularly for all those pupils for whom it is necessary. The department is extremely flexible in approach, and the learning support staff constantly seek feed-back from teaching staff about how the pupils are coping with classwork.
