- Respecting the opinions, beliefs and values of others.
- Motivating each child to strive and achieve without undue pressure.
- Acknowledging effort and rewarding achievement.
Your child will leave Barfield Prep School happy, confident and eager to further their education in an ever-changing world.
Our Objectives:
- To have high expectations for learning and attainment explicit to pupils, parents, teachers and Governors and establish standards for the performance of all pupils in every subject area.
- To use these standards to set targets for improvement, measure progress and monitor performance of pupils.
- To provide clear, full and statutory entitlement for learning for all pupils in every subject area.
- To determine the content of teaching, set standards for learning for every year group and determine how performance will be assessed and reported.
- To continually monitor staff performance, encourage staff development and promote a positive teaching environment.
