First Term at Malory Towers - Book Review

The First Term at Malory Towers is about a girl called Darrel Rivers who goes to boarding school. She puts on her school uniform, (I am wearing it) packs her bags and heads off to the train station where she meets a girl called Alicia who looks after her. The two other girls in the story are Sally and Gwendolyn. The girls find Gwendolyn a bit annoying so they don't pay attention to her. The girls get there and have dinner, then go to bed.

I would like to tell you about a trick specifically. I can't tell you all of them because there is a whole load in this book. One trick I particularly like is when Alicia puts a spider in Gwendolyn's drawer because she hates her, Gwendolyn opens her drawer and screams. Her teacher is really scared of spiders, so is Gwendolyn. Oh no! If you want to find out what happens then why don't you read the book.

I recommend the series for good readers in Year 4 and above. It is mainly for girls. As you may know there are six books in this series.
