The Secret Garden - Book Review

The story is about a girl called Mary and a very special garden. At the beginning of the story the girl is living in India with her mother and father and all their servants but something terrible happens and left all alone she has to move to Yorkshire in England.

In England Mary is sent to live with her Uncle, Mary is very unhappy and in this part of the story she misses India and finds England cold and strange. She does not like being in her Uncle's house because she is lonely and there is nothing to do. But this all changes when she explores outside the house and finds a door to a locked garden and when one night follws the sound of someone crying. Mary discovers her cousin Colin and makes friends with a boy called Dicken.

Mary begins to feel happy again and with her new friends discovers how to get into the garden, bring it to life again and with the magic of the garden change her cousins life too.
