Owlets
Owlets nursery is a bright and stimulating environment designed to encourage all the six areas of your child’s development.
We start with a minimum of three mornings per week, progressing to five as your child's independence and confidence builds.
Owlets cover the ‘Birth to Three’ and the ‘Foundation Stage’ curriculum. Over the course of the year we cover six topics and we invite visitors from the Police Force, Fire Brigade and Road Safety to talk to the children during the topic ‘People who help us.’ We take a class outing to Bird World in the summer term as well as being involved in whole school events throughout the year.
The Owlets classroom contains a wide range of resources to encourage your child’s development, through exploration, investigation, questioning and play using their senses.
We also make weekly visits to the library and swim once every half term in order to build up the children’s confidence for the following year in Owls when they will swim once a week.
Please see curriculum notes for more details.
